Description
So, you've entered a location on a Calendar appointment. And now, you'd like to get a map, quickly and easily. A tiny helper named Arrive™ is your new best friend.
Arrive brings together the organization of Calendar with the navigation of Maps. Set an event's location once and forget about it. You'll be able to find the map later, right when you need it.
With Arrive, there's no tedious series of taps and swipes to copy & paste the address. No scrambling for directions or losing track of where you need to be. Arrive doesn't ask you for anything, and takes zero minutes to set up.
When you're creating an event in Calendar (or in your favorite desktop/web-based calendaring application that syncs to your iPhone® or iPod touch®, such as iCal® or Google Calendar™), simply enter a location in the area provided.
The location can be anything you'd type into Google Maps™ to search for a place. That means almost any description is game: address, airport code, street intersection, or even a business name “near” any of these. If Google™ can find it, so can Arrive.
Arrive looks at the Calendar on your mobile and figures out where you'll be going in the next few weeks. It creates a map link to each place. Tap the event's name and you're taken to the map instantly, sure to Arrive on time.
What's New in Version 1.1
+ Improved support for iPhone 4 multitasking
+ Event list updates appropriately after returning to Arrive

Useful but could be better
This type of functionality should be default in the calendar app, so I give the authors credit for implementing this crucial feature. However, the app is lacking in its ability to handle multiple calendars (i.e. through Exchange) and doesn't filter out previous items in your calendar, so it's quite a search to find today's items. I have brought these problems up with the developers, with no improvements seen.
Does a nice job filling in a gap
Arrive does a nice job filling in a functionality gap that Apple should have covered in iCal. If you are OCD enough to fill in the location of an appointment in your calendar wouldn't it be nice to be able to tap the location on your phone an launch the maps application so as to get directions? Arrive presents a list of your upcoming appointments by title from about a week ago forward into the future. Tapping the entry for an appointment launches the maps application with the address. Arrive excludes apps that don't have a location set.
If you hunt around on the google you will discover that you can put the address in the notes field and the iCal App will do the right thing. I just can't understand why iCal can't do the obvious with the "location" field.
Wonderful, and Almost There
I love the simplicity of the app, but I would love to see an option to select a custom date range or choose from presets. I also noticed that some events that already occurred appeared.
