**Sick and tired of speeding tickets? Can’t find the speed limit sign anyway? ASafeDrive is the first iPhone app. specifically aimed at helping people maintain their vehicle speed within the legal speed limits.
**The digital speedometer monitors the vehicle's speed/distance using the built in G.P.S. and compares it to the speed limit stored in our database of the street you are on. When going over the legal limit, the speedometer changes colors from green-to-red. The user must push the button marked "NA" and input the speed limit with your coordinates automatically attached. Please allow 24 hours for the information to process.
**Users now can input speed limit data in M.P.H. or KM/HR, depending on your options making the app. work Worldwide instead of just in Los Angeles.
**The unique app has recently been upgraded and though previously it specifically aimed to help commuters maintain vehicle speeds within legal limits throughout the Los Angeles area, the 3.2 version can now be used worldwide.
**The upgraded version is now updated with new speed limits daily in which users can input to be reviewed and approved by ASafeDrive staff. The upgrade also includes a viewable map screen that will tell you how fast your vehicle is moving in relation to the current area speed limit.

Great app
UPDATE DAY 2: yay the app does what it says and remembered roads I set up speed limit for yesterday! Small issue with sound-cuts off iTunes if youre listening and doesn't resume iTunes play when alert ends. Developer says he'll add this for next release. Also, single beeps go off randomly which developer said is to signify new streets, but it doesn't seem to correlate properly. I asked if he could make that an option that could be turned off.
Five stars because if you email the developer he is amazingly fast to get back, listens to your input, and because this app could def seriously save my butt from speeding tickets once all speed limits are in place. Def recommend.
So today is day 1 and I like the UI but inputting speed limits is annoying, ESP when the app "forgets" if you switch programs. Then I read that speed limit memory is updated in 24 hrs, so by tomorrows drive home this may get a lot more stars. Loveee the concept, needs some work
