Battery Doctor!
This app is great to keep track of battery life. My iPod battery definetly extended! I'm only 9 yrs old and I am using it.4 I recommend this app 2 anyone who wants 2 extend their battery life!
Scam! Bogus App does little!
I bought this knowing that so many people had given it high marks. But, folks, it is only a battery meter. The authors are completely deceptive in saying that this prolongs battery life. It does nothing of the sort. They should be banned by Apple for making deceptive claims (I'm actually very surprised this app hasn't already been banned). People are buying this app based on positive hype from other users. I think it is because it is an attractive "battery meter" with nice graphics. But the claim to extend battery life is simply not true. Does anyone actually think that Apple would allow an app author to screw with the internal workings and built-in functionality of the iPhone battery system? No, they would not. Unfortunately, I know this review will be lost in an overwhelming sea of positive reviews. That's a shame. These guys are taking everyone for a ride and everyone seems to believe the app description based on those 5-star reviews. Not only does the app NOT prolong battery life, it does not even keep track of the charging cycles as it claims. Battery Doctor Pro is STRICTLY a battery meter. You CAN choose the color of the meter's battery icon - but who cares?. It's a pretty useless app. I have deleted it and am very sorry that I paid for it. I would say it should be free but in reality, it shouldn't be on the App Store. There is a much legitimate app for monitoring battery levels called "System Activity Monitor" (Recession Apps) which is excellent. It also allows you to free up unused memory. "System Activity Monitor" also shows you all currently running processes and gives information about your WiFi network. Battery Doctor Pro is reminiscent of all of those flashlight apps out there. Actually, having one flashlight app on your device is a reasonable thing to do. This app is truly useless, however. I'm sorry to admit that I've been duped by these guys.
