Would have bought if I had tried first
After reading reviews about how amazing this app was, I was curious to try it out. However, I haven't used it much since then. There isn't a lot of fun factor here. If you are trying to synthesize some unique sounds it may be up your alley.
Possibly the best music application for the iPhone
This is worth way more than two dollars. I'm not too familiar with synthesizers, but the day the iPhone was announced, the first thing that came to mind was "multi-touch synthesizer." This has great sound, great customization, and does a great job of being a real musical instrument. I just spent an hour and a half improvising.
I found out about this from Jordan Rudess, keyboardist of Dream Theater. He's one of the best keyboardists in the world. I was surprised to see him recommend an iPhone application, yet alone use it on an album. (Black Clouds & Silver Linings)
Great application.
Suprisingly Awsome Synthesizer
I downloaded this tiny app, and was blown away by how simple it looked as a toy, but as I played around with the thing, soon realized how great a synthesizer this app is. I could see someone getting really good creating their own music on this one app with all the seemingly limitless sounds you can create. The robot element is just icing on the cake!
