Regret this purchase ... NOT loaded in iPhone
I realize it states that on the purchase page but, be aware, ... this can be apinfully slow and with a poor connection (even with 3G), you can be waiting, and waiting, and waiting before you get the scripture you desire. My prayer would be that they get wise and load it on the phone in a future upgrade. This is what we want and we desire!
don't buy this - no offline access!
I regret this purchase greatly, and I feel cheated by the developer. If I can't get offline, access, then what exactly am I paying for? If I have internet access, why should I pay five bucks for this app when instead I can go to one of the web sites that have the NLT bible free?
Why did I pay for this???
You've got to be kidding me. Slow online access and no offline access. There are other bibles that allow online access only (like this one) but are much faster. Plus the other version that I am referring to offers several different translations as opposed to just one. I paid for this app only because I assumed it would allow offline access since it isn't free. I was wrong. I read somewhere that they don't allow offline access because the size of the app would be too large if they included the full text...well that's a bunch of bull. You could fit thousands of copies of the bible text on your iPhone. The real issue is that if they wanted to provide offline access they would have to pay Tyndale to license it. I regret this purchase.
