Use the accelerometer or touch controls to move the paddle up and down bouncing beats back from which they came! Successfully chain beats and obtain the megasphere to go for insane scores, not to mention the elusive "Perfect Score." Team-up with your friends for the intense Multiplayer Gameplay Mode! Great game, make text easier to read!
I already had this game on iPhone and bought it again to take advantage of the bigger screen. Graphics being so retro already means the "HD" moniker in this version really mean much but if you don't already own this game then BUY IT! it is excellent regardless of platform. One thing I'd like improved is the readability of the text in the menus. Atari style retro text was stylish on iPhone but is very hard to read on the iPad screen! It appears overblown and hard to make out. Please improve for a five star review. Bring the rest of the bit trip series to iOS please!
First Timer? BUY
Contains all the fun of the original. Even if you're a first timer, try it, because it's only 99¢ as apposed to buying a $20 WiiPoints Card just to buy it. Don't listen to people saying that it's too hard. Practice and patience will yield the best results. I've played this series before and I ragequit all the time, it's only natural.
As for the text. It is pretty abstract, but you should be able to get used to it.

One of the most fun games I've seen on iOS. Absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. Very creative, challenging, and great to play over and over. This is NOT an easy game to beat either...
