Bloom, the acclaimed app by ambient pioneer Brian Eno and musician / software designer Peter Chilvers has been fully reworked to take advantage of the iPad’s larger screen.
As part of the first wave of applications for the iPhone and iPod touch in 2008, Bloom redefined musical boundaries. Part instrument, part composition and part artwork, Bloom's innovative controls allow anyone to create elaborate patterns and unique melodies by simply tapping the screen. A generative music player takes over when Bloom is left idle, creating an infinite selection of compositions and their accompanying visualisations.
Bloom HD preserves the sounds and features of the original version, but adds a stylish new interface which allows the user to fully immerse themselves in the fullscreen experience or to continue to play on a smaller area while adjusting controls.

Needs more sound variety
Bloom is a great concept, but there could be updates to improve it. Basically I'm just looking for many new sounds so it doesn't sound montonomous. Please look into improving Bloom and making it more flexible with more variety, thanks.
4.3 requirement is an anti-piracy tool
Love it. If you have a toddler or small baby, they will love this!
For those complaining about OS level requirements, its a tool to help (not completely eliminate) jailbreak/installous piracy.
Beautiful but woefully crude
Nice sounds and inventive idea but the inability to reocord/capture performances makes this a toy and not a tool. I'm a music pro and was hoping for more...especially considering the developers. my heart sank as I came up with a great piece, only to know that I couldn't ever use it. I'm sure Mr. Eno would explain that I'm missing the point. Oh, also this needs an undo so you could build pieces by trial and error. Oh wait, you can't record performances. pro version pls, go ahead and charge me more.
