To use, just launch and tap in the price of your meal. Use the sliders to set the percentage and optionally, split the bill evenly among friends. Calculations can be made to the penny, or rounded to the nearest dollar to your intended tip percentage. You can even encode a pattern in your total amount to prevent theft! With the Mirror mode, you can confirm that every food charge in your credit card bill has the dollar and penny digits mirrored (e.g. $37.73 — a palindrome) and that nobody tried to skim a little off the top.

Thank you all for your awesome feedback and reviews. I've tried to build a top-shelf iPhone App with the fit and finish you’ve come to expect of the iPhone. There are bland imitations out there, and confusing apps with jumbles of badly arranged features. I'm confident you'll find this app is a worthwhile upgrade to your iPhone, and I look forward to hearing your feedback and ideas.

The best Tip App I've seen on the app store.
Well, I was one of those people that probably could have used this app from the very start, but I told myself that I wasn't going to buy a "tip" app. I suppose I had the notion that I could probably do most of the math myself, and that if I really wanted a "tip" app, then a suitable "free" one would soon arise. Now that I have purchased "Tip" by Carlos Perez, I can make the admission that I was wrong on both counts. "Tip" really is a very well done "tip" application and it brings with it, a nice user interface, ease of use, a supportive developer, and a few features that you will only find in this application.
My favorite feature in "Tip" and the one that really helps to justify paying for a "tip" app, is the "mirror" option. With it, you can ensure that when you tip your server, it will be difficult for them to change the bill that you have given them. I know that it is probably rare that a server would do this, but it does happen and the application brings this unique feature to you in a way that I have not seen in any other tip app on the app-store.
In closing, I should say that one of the things that pushed me to actually try out and purchase this app, was a competing free app that seems to have taken its design-whole cloth, from "Tip." After trying out the free app, I found countless (and I'm no mathematician) mathematical errors in its (the free apps) calculations. While the free app copied Mr. Perez's design, it coudn't (or didn't have the gall to) copy his ease of use, support, or unique "mirror" function.
