NOT A FREE APP !!!!
I had read about this in Parade Magazine today (22nd Jan 2012) as being a 'FREE' app., but only the first 5 sessions are free - then you have to PAY!!
Parade Magazine even asks you to call **PARADE to get the app *FREE* but the same situation as I described above prevails....in other words you have to PAY!
I hate these kind of bait and switch applications.
Download only if prepared to pay!
Phenomenal! Do yourself (and your brain) a HUGE favor.
These modules have exponentially improved both my memory retrieval and my creation of memories. I've never before felt as aware and competent as I do after several months of using these exercises. I also use the online program which offers additional modules which more precisely target problem areas; I highly recommend this app, and if You're to purchase and benefit from it, then by all means- go online and create a profile for only 40 a year. Its rewards will pay dividends, trust me- ive raised my college gpa by more than a point in 2 semesters. If you have ADD, ADHD and or dyslexia, this app is an absolute godsend. Just buy it. I never have reviewed anything on iTunes in the last 8 or so years, but this app is too fantastic to keep to myself.

I just paid for the lumosity app. So far is the best way to spend $10. . On 12/20/10 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I had a tbi " traumatic brain injury". I was in the hospital for 3 months and had brain surgery. I am now in rehab for my recovery from my impact on my head and the damage to my brain. I went thru a week of tests that give me information on what my low points are since my accident. I have been in the rehab for 4 weeks and the staff said I have had a remarkable recovery from my tbi and they are surprised on how good I am doing. My low spots are memory and impulsivity...they are working with me to improve my problems and they told me about Lumosity so I found the app on my iPad and ordered it so when I am at home can continue to help my brain recover. Hope all of the rehab and the help from Lumosity will make to the point where I can return back to work. I have been at the same job/career for 13 years. And the nickname is eric the dumb because the day I got on my motorcycle to go to work I didn't put my helmet on and I got in the accident. If I would of put on my helmet I would of went to the hospital and went home and back to work. The doctors gave me 2% of surviving and I pulled thru and made it.
