Good Start, But Needs Much More

I'm so tired of people creating apps that aren't complete, especially at $2. This app has a lot of potential and I want to like it but there are some words missing (Bugger. Where's that one? It's a pretty common one.) Also, there's basically nothing to it. You tap a word and there's a one line (at most) description. The descriptions are so scant (often, just one word!) that you barely get a sense of the word. The app is basically the screen shot you see on the page, and that's it. This makes me angry and feel totally ripped off. And after spending a healthy amount in the app. store, I also feel that Apple should hold the developers to a higher standard. Tell some of the developers "This is not up to sellable standards" or something like that. Something to hold their feet to the fire.

Developers, if you want a good review, make something worth giving a good review. All too often, people write bad app reviews that are unfair to the developers. But, just as often, apps are put into the store that are not ready for use. The idea of a British slang dictionary is great. It could be useful. It could be entertaining. But this is unusable and ridiculous. Add a lot more (A LOT MORE) to this app. and then you'll get a very nice review. Believe me, I would love to give a great review.

For now, I strongly recommend avoiding this until it's better.

Total waste of time and money

The list is very short Many entries are equally familiar as U.S. slang expressions and/or are obvious. And the "naughty" definitions seem to have been censored. A total waste of iPhone real estate.

Help

Please get rid of the silly obvious words and put useful things like "bird" for a lady, "bunged up" when your nose is bad, or "tea" for dinner. Fix this and you will get more stars. WAY more! Thanks!
