BrokenLure is a recreational fishing guide for the gulf coast of Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas

Saltwater Bag Limits
A PDF of the seleceted states Bag Limit chart and Saltwater Fishing Records are downloaded and stored locally on your device. No need to be connected to the internet.

Displays a chart of the states saltwater fishing records.

Fish identification
Artist illustrations of over 100 fish common to the Gulf of Mexico.
The fish are grouped into species and each species has a family view.
Detailed information about each fish is furnished including habitat and food value.
Knots
A small but useful selection of illustrated fishing knots.
FishyScale
A popup fish weight calculator.
Select the type of fish and then dial the length and girth measurements into the scale. The scale will display the approximate weight of your fish.
Measurement Instructions
A popup guide to fish measurement regulations.
Match a fish silhouette to your catch, click to get the measurement details.
Locations
A popup page with common fishing trip destinations predefined.
Click a sign on the signpost and you will be taken to the a map where pins will be dropped relative to the location you have chosen.
