FreshFeed has more features, but this is ok. Unfortunately still a key feature is missing IN ALL friendfeed clients, and found in most twitter clients: you can't continue reading were you left off. Each time you open BuddyFeed, it just grabs the feed sorted from latest to earliest with no memory whatsoever of were you were at last time. Nambu (which is free) at least gives you a item count of the unread items, but you still have to scroll down watching the count go down until it reaches 0, then you can start reading upwards in chronological order. Unfortunately Nambu overrides lines when scrolling down in comments and displays a fixed 50 items. Readability of comments and the ability to fetch more items is what keeps BuddyFeed in my iPhone.
Version 2.0 is a great FriendFeed client
I wasn't really happy with BuddyFeed 1.x, but the 2.0 update is quite good. It's a much more polished, integrated client now. I still feel like a few features are missing, such as sending to multiple rooms and cross-posting to Twitter, but BuddyFeed 2.0 provides a great FriendFeed experience on iPhone.
Great update missing a couple features
It's the best friendfeed client on the iphone and the 2.0 update gave it the UI fix it needed. But it's still missing some native friendfeed features such as cross posting to multiple feeds and ccing twitter.
I also agree about the icon. Give us a new one for the new UI!
