Great game! Definitely worth it if you like these kind of games!
This game is fun and challenging, and can be a little frustrating but once you get the hang of it, you will see why it's so addicting!
To get the appeal rating up in neighborhoods (and to give a house more than a +5 at the beginning), you need to build a park next to a house. The parks should ALWAYS be built next to and between houses - avoid placing buildings near houses as this brings down the appeal rating for the house, not just the neighborhood. Painting is offered in the beginning, and landscaping is available later on.
THERE ARE NO MORE LEVELS OUT THERE!!!!!! This game was not originally created by GLU! I don't know how long it has been out on the computer, but the computer game is what this is based on and GLU is not going to give you more new levels! I love replaying the old levels and fooling around with the Casual Mode. The only thing I wish they would add (which is in the PC version, by the way) is a tracking of the Casual Mode games - what time you completed the level, how many workers you hired and how many materials you used.

Based off of the MONOPOLY Build-a-lot game, this is a game that will keep you entertained for hours.
