Enjoy WordWorld’s Build a Word app, based on the Emmy award winning television series on PBS KIDS®. WordWorld is funded in part by the Department of Education and has been demonstrated to significantly improve early literacy skills, including: print awareness, letter knowledge and comprehension. WordWorld is just as it sounds: A magical world made up of words where fun rules the day.
It's time to Build A Word! Shake up this "Word Builder" and watch letters float across the screen. Place letters in the outline provided and build a word one letter at a time. By pushing the letters of each word together, words will magically "morph" into WordFriends! DOG, DUCK, PIG, ANT, FROG, SHEEP, BUG, COW, CAT, and BEE come to life and engage children to build their early literacy skills.
Learning to read has never been this much fun!

Lets Build a Word!
My 3 year old ran the battery down playing and replaying the game. He loves it and does not care about the repeating characters. It is great for getting him to sit still (being 3 he does not too often). He picked up on the concept very quickly. He knows the animals well enough he was repeating their phrases on the second time through. Great job, I hope for some updates to add some more of word world not just the animals. I know one of my son's favories is P-I-E, just be careful not to add an S.
Good Game -- needs more
Great app for my almost-4 yr old, but needs more words or 'levels'. Again, REALLY good idea, just need more. Hopefully they'll add some with future updates?
Good concept; needs work
This is a great concept and engages my 4 year-old... for a few minutes. The problem is that every time you start the app, it begins with the same set of words... EVERY TIME! My daughter loves the idea of the game but then when she starts it up, she remembers she's going to do the same words...in the same order... every time. They need to let you choose levels: easy for short words and more difficult for longer ones. Most importantly, please mix up the order of the words!!!
