- A feel good arcade game with a moving story – Discover the life of a family as you find memories while you play.
- Travel as far as you can in ”Evergreen Ride” or beat your best time in ”Sunday Trip”. Then sit back and relax as you enjoy the story in ”Memory Lane”.
- All the bells and whistles – Universal app, retina display visuals, achievements and leaderboards on Game Center!

Chosen by Apple as Game of the Week!

”Bumpy Road is one of the best purchases I’ve made on the app store. Not just because the gameplay has a hook unlike anything I’ve played on an iOS device, but also because it’s got a fantastic aesthetic.” - IGN.com (9/10 Editor's Choice)

”While Bumpy Road is indeed a solid high scoring game, it’s the peripheral elements that transcend it from being merely a well-made video game to an unforgettable experience ... if you like high scoring games or touching works of art, then you won’t want to miss Bumpy Road ” - Toucharcade.com

"Must Have" - Slidetoplay.com (4/4)

” ... playing it means feeling love, not love for the designers or the medium or the state of being meaningfully distracted or the sense of communion with everyone who does this or even the game itself, but love. The feeling of love.” - Killscreendaily.com

Not all I hoped for

This game is beautiful.

Sure.

But the gameplay itself is a bit of a problem. While not an evil-ly addictive game (ahem--birds) it lacks any sort of goal that I see. A pretty game, but for what?

So you score points. But is that all--beat your top score? No levels or challenges? No bosses? And only one "power up"? There clearly wasn't an auteur for gameplay like there was for design.

And that's why I can't suggest this game. I've started playing maybe 10 times, and every time save the first I ask myself 5 minutes into playing -- why am I playing this?

Ah one more thing--controls. I keep getting launched up at times that I wouldn't expect to. Why does the car launch as high as it does when it's falling and meets the ground already half way up? Why doesn't the ground launch up more quickly so I can more often use its height rather than accidentally launching my car over and over into a hole? (always happens) oh and what seems to be a no-brainer--why can't I use two fingers?!?! Maybe this wasn't obvious when developing, but the multitouch, well, it's there.

But what it comes down to is levels and challenges. Maybe I'm just not seeing them. Maybe I got it all wrong. But the difference between this game and, say, tiny bird is EXACTLY that--the lack of challenges. I'd even overlook some of the control problems if there were legit Challenges. I would guess version two gets them.

Developers--sorry to rag. But I think you got a good thing going here, and I hope to see an awesome bumpy road 2.

FUN!

The graphics and the music are great.
I have always been a fan of simple games like this that can be played with the touch of a finger.

Great Game!

This game keeps getting better with each update! Excellent!
