Call of Cthulhu was originally the title of a novella by cult American horror writer H.P. Lovecraft (1890–1937) which has, since it was published in 1928, captured the imagination of generation after generation of fans. Returning to the horror from Lovecraft's original 'Reanimator' set during the dark days of WW1, Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land draws the player into a nightmare world where the terror of mustard gas and trench warfare are but a foretaste of what is to follow.

Great game.
Excellent game. Can't say enough about the dev team - I sent in a bug report and within 24 hours received a personal e-mail back acknowledging my submission. A patch was issued within a week. Outstanding job!

Excellent
This is one of my top ten apps. It gives you great options for character development. In its best moments it reminded me of Xcom and laser squad nemesis. In its rougher points the devs apparently thought they were making a puzzler, but even those more puzzle oriented levels were okay.
This one swings more to the hard core gamer side i think, but If you are new to tbs games with action points, then this is a good one to get your feet wet.
I really hope they add content. This could be an excellent franchise.
1d2/1d50 SAN Loss
Beautifully done. I expect it's meant primarily for iPad players, as I became so frustrated with the controls I gouged out my own eyeballs. This is on the iPhone 4, upon which it looks, sounds, and runs great so far. Granted, I'm not in too far (just beat the first mission) but I'm having a heck of a time just shooting and moving around. I love XCom an CoC and even have the PnP module this is based on. I doubt my sanity will hold long enough to destroy the otherworldly menace and its twisted cultists - I suggest you pass if you don't have a largish screen for this (ie purchase this on the phone platform and consider yourself warned). A must have for Mythos lovers but others might hesitate
