Cam Viewer for SecuritySpy is a camera viewer that allows you to monitor security cameras configured using Ben Bird's SecuritySpy software for Mac OS directly from your iPhone.
Cam Viewer for SecuritySpy allows you to view an unlimited number of cameras from multiple SecuritySpy servers in a thumbnail arrangement, or zoom into individual cameras for a near real-time feed.
Configuring cameras is easy - just enter the details of a SecuritySpy server and Cam Viewer will retrieve all your configured cameras and add them into the application with no fuss.
Re-order or delete cameras to configure Cam Viewer to display the cameras however you prefer - even mixing cameras from different servers on the same thumbnail page.
You can control the refresh rate of your cameras, and view your cameras in landscape or portrait mode depending on the orientation of your iPhone.
You can even take a snapshot of the currently viewed camera and save it to your iPhone or iPod Photo Roll - perfect for surveillance activities where you want to keep a copy of an image for future reference.

You MUST have purchased and configured a SecuritySpy server on your Mac in order to use this software.
Cam Viewer for SecuritySpy requires you to specify the URL, port, username and password of your SecuritySpy server. You will need to have configured SecuritySpy's WebServer option to allow access to your camera images using the username and password configured in Cam Viewer for SecuritySpy.
This software WILL NOT WORK with any other type of camera security system.

Seems to work well in OS 5. I use this on both an iPad and 4s iPhone.
It would be nice for an iPad version without paying again.
Don't pay for this version.
I was a big fan of this app until iOS 5.0 came out. Since then the app doesn't work at all on any of my iOS devices (iPad 2, iPad, or iPhone 4). A new version was released in the past day or so and it crashes continually. Don't waste you money on this app until the developer bothers to get it working again.
Works for me
Been a long time user of this app and only ever had issue recently when the app began to crash 100% of the time on iOS 5. I deleted app from phone and reinstalled, that solved my issues then v. 1.5 came out. So far no issues with the new version.
The app works as well as one would expect from a handheld device and is a beautiful compliment to the Security Spy computer software. I do not have and pan/tilt cameras do I can not speak on the apps functionality with those; however, I can easily monitor my business and building from almost any location using my iPhone.
I have never had a need to contact the developer so I can not confirm or negate other reviewers "no response" claims when confronted with problems.
