Description

SALE 67% OFF! - The definitive iPhone shooter, cs.one is the first truly synesthetic shooter available exclusively for the iPhone and iPod touch.

KILL EVERYTHING. TOUCH NOTHING. //

New Version 2.0 now with Dual Stick Controller, New Ship Designs and iPod playback! Massive rendering performance optimizations from Unity Technologies.

Audio/Visual effects like music, environments, vocal samples, and sound FX are mixed in real-time and triggered in sync with the music while playing. As intensity levels change so does the game world. cs.one also features a dynamic, sliding time scale where audio speed and pitch are warped in real-time when using the bullet.time hack.

KILLER.APP //
At its core cs.one is a fast paced 2.5D shooter powered by an inertia based physics system much like the classic arcade game Asteroids. Fans of Geometry Wars will find a similar aesthetic and enemy behavior with a larger battlefield, fixed objectives and fluid parallax movement. cs.one's audio/visual effects, gameplay and Rez like environment were inspired by Cyberspace as described by William Gibson in his award winning Cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer and Neal Stephenson's vision of the matrix in Snow Crash.

CRITICALLY.ACCLAIMED //

9 of 10 / AppGamer.net
"There were many mimicries of the classic-Geometry-Wars-action iDevice gamers longed for, spanning from Isotope, Nano Fighter to Light Wars. Each having their own strengths and weaknesses, none truly felt like a wholesome package. It outlooks, outsounds and outclasses its competition by a considerable margin. Indie developers playing ball in the App Store really need to step it up because right now – All Ur Bases R Belong To CS.One." - Jeff Effendi

Must Buy! PortableGamer.com
"This is hands down, the best shooter on the iPhone to date, rivaling even the likes of Geometry Wars itself. A cocktail of space shooters and the world of computer hacking, circuit_strike.one is definitely like nothing you’ve seen before." - Corey Appleton

"Circuit Strike. One is one of the best and most compelling App Store shooters"
Christian Zibreg - Geek.com

"[CS.One] showcases some of the strongest UI work iPhone gaming's had since the App Store opened its doors" - Brandon Boyer - Boing Boing's Offworld.com

Great game

(update) the dual stick gives it that comback love, i got farther in 5 min with the new update than i ever got in the game since launch, i finally see the high octaness this game has to offer other than cool statements when you die, tho it would be the best arena shooter if 1: you replace life's(3) with a power/health bar, or at least give the opportunity to gain more lives, cause regaurdless of skill level the sessions are to short for such a big prduction when you die so easily, and having to start from the beggining after 3 hits, but it would be nice if the devs added power ups(spread firing, bombs etc) and a power bar/ health with the ability to gain it back, maybe a store where you can trade your time/slow down points for more lives, but just the ability to recoop ships/ lives lost or some way to extend the length of a typical session5-10 ships instead of 3 on easy, with 3 ships on hard, would pretty much make it official. Read the rest to see how they addressed what I thought was the major set back for most games of said genres, and then dl this.

Yet still no Isotope, but to be fare csone isn't trying, nor is it, the same concept of game play. I coulndt agree more with some of the revs saying its a true app for portable Hcore type gamers(specificly pspheads), this app is not for the recent igroopie pick up and play crowd, you actually have to spend time learning the controls, but in favor of the cons, I feel control is one of the biggest set backs for igames, with the exception of all virtual double joystick games, there is a big difference from learning how to play a game, and playing a game differently, but at the same time Csone does not fall in that category of the unplayable do to uniqe/horrible controls, and on the same token Csone is not as elaborate as some may make it seem (control wise). Csone isn't about intense hordes of enemys coming at you from all directions at frantic speeds, with bullits and partical explosions filling the screen giving the player an utter sense of controled chaos as one scrambles to take out as many boggies as possible before they meet their own inevitable destruction, basicly the traditional survival based arena shooters we know so well, like Isotope, or anything of the geomerty wars genre. Csone is at it's core more of a strategy/ perseption of distance and time arena shooter, more so based on enemy kills/time it takes to do so, while keeping a steady hand and clear mind, opposed to panic/ run and gun/ traditional search and destroy method of most arena shooters primarily based on big points. csone is more so based on the length it takes to aquier points/individual kills. But at the end of the day for me, chaos is what i prefer, mindless run and gun chaos, i mean isnt that what makes arena's so fun? But this game is still a nice twist to the typical. Best audio immersion of any game in the store. And unlike alot of revs here, and over at TA, i have had absolutly no stability issues, no laging or anything, infact i would go so far as to say
This is one of the most stable (big meg) games ive dl'ded for awhile now(iphone3g, clean, hard reset after initial install over hardware, not wifi). And most importantly one of the few games that you can tell so much more work went into it than it shows, and the price tag does the game, nor the devs justice. On a side note I've noticed hardly, if any updates since the start of June, I think it's do to the impending 3.0 update, so devs have at the moment scraped all content updates in place of making sure there games are 3.0 compatable,

Good game

At first I did not know how to play but I figured it out. The instructions are not very good. This is how you play: shoot the red things then you shoot the thing in the middle.

Game won't download after I purchased it from my iPhone :(

WTF!....Button to install is greyed out!
