I have 2nd gen. ipod touch with ios 4.2.1. and after updating I can't play anymore. Good thing, I didn't purchase the full version.

Love this game, huge fan of the series. This version though has terrible graphics and is by far it's largest drawback when compared to other versions of Civ Revolution. However, this doesn't completely ruin the gameplay but they could have made it much better. The graphics should at least be up to par with the console versions which themselves aren't amazing. Being able to touch command is extremely nice because it makes the speed generally go quicker, the console version leaves you fumbling and wasting time making the game last much longer then it needs to. Still fun to play regardless of graphics but they are the appeal factor for the game and turn people away who aren't already fans. Apparently the full version has updated (better) graphics but for the steep price of $7 is hardly worth it. I would gladly pay 3 for the full version but this one deserves to be free. I honestly don't miss the Modern era which isn't included in Lite version and you can play for a very long time considering it's a Lite version but if you want to get people to pay the insane 7 bucks you should give them the full graphics with shorter story. Like the demo on the consoles. Either way. Amazing game with under-average graphics. Unless the price drops on the full version this will satisfy my Civilization needs. I highly recommend this Lite version. I highly DON'T recommend paying 7 for the Full. This is a business first and game second.
