* The map system has been optimized and will now work even when you have no internet or phone connection. It also shows a satellite view of the venue.
* A new feature which allows you to mark your parking spot has been added to the map. A "Mark Parking" button will display once you click Show Me in the interactive map.
* It is now easier to register and find friends. To register simply enter you email address and name. You will receive a confirmation email once you register. Just click the link and you can begin adding friends and uploading photos. Add friends using their email address.
* The lineup and Coachooser have been combined into one page, instead of two. Choices are shown by clicking the Coachooser button on the main screen. A countdown to Coachella now shows at the top of the screen.
To add friends and use the interactive map, you will need to verify your email address.
PLEASE NOTE: The stage selection feature and set time display will not work until the actual set times are announced. As soon as they are live on coachella.com all you have to do is launch the application and as long as you have internet access they will automatically update.

Annoying
I give up. Do not download this app.
I got it to work....
I couldn't get this years bands and times to load - like many others. I made one last attempt to try by deleting the app altogether and then reinstalling. This worked and all of the bands and times finally loaded.
Poorly designed, buggy
App has two huge shortcomings:
1) Even with the latest iOS and an iPhone 4, the app crashes frequently. Even more annoying is that it forgets your "coachooser" selections when it freezes. And with so many bands, it's clearly a pain to go through the long list more than once.
2) The "coachooser" functionlity seems like it would be extremely valuable if well executed - an easy way to keep track of all the bands you want to see according to the schedule. However, the app does not allow you display your list by set time, so it's not useful for knowing where to go next. If you select 30 artists, for example, you have to scroll up and down your list to figure out who is up next, as everything is displayed in alphabetical order by artists. This is extremely dumb.
Poorly thought-out. Disappointing app.
