Description
Code Alpha is a new word game for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Time is limited, how many words can you make?
Touch the letters to build words and aim for the High Score!
Features:
・Game state is saved if a phone call comes in or if you have to quit in the middle of a game so you never have to worry about loosing your place!

How To Play:
Create words by pressing the available letter buttons. As you create a word it's displayed in a text field near the bottom of the screen.
When you've completed making a word, press anywhere in the lower black area of the screen to enter it in.
Note words are AT LEAST TWO CHARACTERS in length.
If the word you entered is in the game's English dictionary you will see it scroll by on the bottom of the screen, your score will increase, you'll be given some extra time, and some new letters will fall into place to replace the ones you used.
In the case that the word you try to enter was not found in the dictionary a question mark will be displayed and no points will be rewarded.
As your score goes up, the level will increase, the background will change, and the game will speed up. At the same time the points awarded for making a word will increase as well, so the longer you survive the better chance you have at getting some seriously High Scores.
When you run out of time, it's Game Over.
If your score is in the top 25 it will be saved to the High Score Table. *
*The High Score Table keeps local scores only, this game has no online components.
What's New in Version 1.01
Fixed an embarrassing issue with the animation for falling pieces being set very slow. The game plays much smoother now.
Again I apologize to anyone who bought version 1.0 and experienced this problem.

Distracting backgrounds
I like this game but some of the backgrounds make it very hard to play.

I like this game, but PLEASE make the backgrounds simpler/lighter... It's very hard to see the letters on some of the backgrounds.
Other than that it's a fun game to pass time. If the background issue is fixed in an update, I'll be happy to add a star.
Worth it!
Very fun, challenging game. Gets your brain going and playback is great. Worth your time and dollar!
I wrote this before the developer edited his description "unplayable". I bought it while it was out. Screenshots?!?
