Description
To really get good at something you need to do it everyday. Commit helps you form these habits in order to become fit, learn to draw, or learn a language.
For example, if you want to learn to draw, you should practice every day. First add it as a commitment, then Commit will track each day you practice your drawing. For each day it increases the "Days in a row" count. If you miss a day it resets to 0.
Eventually as you reach 20, 30, or 50 days in a row that count becomes the motivation to keep going each day. By being consistent you will improve much more quickly.
Here are a few ideas you could try:
* Drawing
* Running
* Language learning
* Practicing an instrument
* Programming
* Exercising
* Flossing
* Reading
* Yoga
What will you Commit to?
#######
If your commitment isn't something you want to do every day (like Run), set it to Exercise or Train instead. Then make sure to do another kind of exercise or stretching on your off days. Then you still meet your goals and maintain a good commitment.

On its way to greatness
This app is very helpful in an everyday setting. It uses the concept similar to chains cc where it keeps track of consecutive days having accomplished certain tasks.
I use it on my iPad. I wish there was an iPad version, as the portrait mode gets frustrating at times, and perhaps some cool iPad specific features. I use the app primarily for my morning routine. If there is a limit to how many commitments you can have, I haven't reached it, and I've gone over 15.
The recent update allowed for you to check off yesterday if you happened to forget, which works well. Also, if you accidentally check something, you can uncheck it.
The app sends you push notifications if you choose for whatever time you set for each commitment. This works well and is quite motivating: Have you gone to the gym yet today?
A few complained about the mandatory setting of every day for every commitment. It would be nice to choose days of the week for each, as in a certain commitment Monday-Friday, but not breaking the chain on Saturday and Sunday. I don't know how difficult this would be to program, but picking and choosing days for each would allow optimal customization for each day.
All in all, a great app and worth the investment.
Good idea, bad implementation
Great idea for an app. However it is simple beyond belief. Should be free based on current feature set. Save your money on this one!
