Customer Reviews
Great program for brainstorming
Update: New iPad fix works great and looks great.
Old review: I love using Corkulous for laying out large story ideas. One addition I would like to see is some type of "arrows" that you could lay down on the board and customize. That would really help in directing visual flow across the board.
Amazing application
Note: problems with the iPad 3 seem to be fixed - it's speedier and looks better without any bugs.
Review: Truly the kind of app that the iPad was designed for. Very useful for planning projects of all sorts and keeping track of information visually. It actually reminds me a lot of the Microsoft Courier concept. I am currently using it to plan a number of home improvements, and I am hoping that I can find even more uses for it since it is so much fun to use. Despite being so feature-rich, I am impressed with how easy and intuitive it is to use - the controls are great. My only lingering requests after using this app for the last 18 months are that i wish i could draw directly on the board rather than just posting various kinds of notes, and is that I wish I could replace the background with a whiteboard or chalkboard than corkboard. I know - the app is called Corkulous, but sometimes that theme gets a little tired and it'd be nice to have something with a more modern feel.
In short, this is a must-have for any iPad owner, especially those doing home improvements or design work, and it's probably useful for a lot of other things as well.
PS I like another reviewers idea for string - if you're going with the cork theme, might as well go all the way!
2.0 Review: Excellence and Productive
2.4 Review: Thanks for the speed enhancements, this just continues to make app better and faster to use! Keep up the good work! :)
Features Requested:
String to tie things together
Google Maps integrated
And more stuff of course.
2.0 Review: Still valid and the app works like a charm. Bug fixes appreciated :)
Well, didn't think that my "low-priority" request for iPhone integration AND sync would come about, but after a long wait Appigo finally unleashes Corkulous 2.0. In comparison to 1.6.4, 2.0 takes Corkulous and really ramps up the app. The iCloud sync integration has been pretty flawless so far and I'm sure Dropbox will come in handy now that Corkulous is an iPhone app and hopefully get some collaboration between friends going. The interface tweaks are nice and the amount of control over fonts, colors and text sizes is much better and I approve of that.
The new Index cards and arrows are great new features. I'll definitely have some uses for those.
The iPhone version is really helpful now and the ability to edit my cork boards no matter where I'm at and have them synced over the cloud has really increased the usefulness of this app. I highly recommend this "sandbox"-like app and its one of the main reasons I got an iPad. If your a visual thinker or just need a place to store your thoughts, this is the app for you. Great job Appigo!
What I would like to see:
Some sort of string to attach ideas to each other. Would definitely like to see this.
Some sort of Calendar that you can put on the board.
More cork-items of course.
Notifications for your collaberated corkboard to let them know there is a new version of the shared cork board. Preferably a manual notification that we can do ourselves.
1.6.4 Old Review:
Thanks for in-app camera support, that will be nice in the future. Would like to see more corkboard related things like ability to draw strings (or even attach).
(Low priority request:) perhaps iPhone integration with sync?
This app is great for the visually-inclined, with plenty of features and abilities it really feels like your own mobile corkboard. Highly recommend for college students!
A very flexible app that let's you put in to-dos, pictures and text, you can get your project or idea on digital paper. Been using it for college projects and it has worked out very well. the best part is that it's actually fun to use! Which is only possible with a well polished app and a flexible interface.
Well designed, with plenty of features, no crashing/bugs and looks great, you can't go wrong with this app.
