Nicely Done
First, the book. This is a very nice Curious George story about an animal shelter. It is the same as the paperbook copy you can find in most book stores. The application is well done. I like the way that they zoom in on the part of the illustration that matchs each sentence being read. I also -love- the ability to record the book yourself and the interface for doing so is very well done. They have a nice set of options that lets you choose the ability to have the text show or not, make the text jumbo sized, and have the book auto-read or not. I do wish there was an option to have the pages auto-turn. For very young readers it would be nice to have the pages turn themselves and to minimize the number of "buttons" they can push to accidentally find themselves in a menu. Also, I was not particularly impressed with the narration that comes with the book. There was even a part where the narration differed from the text (in a very minor way) I much preferred the version I read myself. Other those two things, the application is nearly perfect.
Great book
This is very well done, but I agree with the previous reviewer that an auto-page-turn feature is a must.
