Darkness is an advanced world clock with some unique and interesting features. See the time for sunrise, noon, sunset, moonrise and moonset for any city in the world on any date, plus a whole lot more. Darkness features a huge database of well over 20,000 cities. Custom cities can be added in the unlikely event that you can’t find what you’re after. A special ‘Current Location’ city can also be used, which will track your position dynamically using GPS, giving you sunrise, sunset and other information for exactly wherever you may be.

It's a bit early for me to be reviewing this product but so far it has given me no cause to disagree with the rave reviews. It's obvious already that those who developed it know what Apple knows about the computer business: it isn't. Like all good companies who make great and successful products, Bjango knows that it's really in the people business, and it shows in the simple yet lofty artistic level far and away beyond mere functionality to which they've taken Darkness - Sun, Moon. Not nearly as cumbersome and abstruse as it could be, yet every bit as intuitive and easy to use as one might hope to find in so useful a product.

Excellent, accurate, very easy to use... and attractive. It doesn't get any better than this.
I really like this app
I've tried many apps like this and I think this one is the best. It's a quick resource for informationn like the bearing towards sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset. Combined with the compass app, it's really useful for a landscape photographer. The best part is it calculates it all from your current GPS position. Really good stuff.
