Great APP
This is a really great app. I just realized today that the regular camera on the phone is really bad, its way too blurry when I try to take a pic and is sensitive to even the slightest movements. This app works great and has now officially replaced the mediocre standard iphone camera. It waits until the camera is stable before it takes the picture. Self pics look clear and crisp. For all the people that are complaining that they have no idea where their pictures are here is a tip: check in your photo album under camera roll, its just that simple. Thanks for this really great app developers. They just have to update it to have "modes" instead of the steady picture mode but its a great start.
Patience required
I loaded this app today and the first picture I took seemed to hang up the iPhone. It turns out it did not. I took three more pictures, and can say it does what it claims to do, but it does necessitate some waiting. When I got back home, and saw the pictures on my computer, all looked good. Good things come to those that wait.
junk---glad it was free
I downloaded this and took a picture. To be sure, it was steady. But it locked up my iPhone entirely. I could not quit the app, nor could i take any additional photos. I had to do a hard restart of the iPhone (and guess what---the photo I took is not in the iPhone photo library). There's also no link to the photo library, unlike the Camera application, so that you can easily get to the photo library from SteadyCam. But then, that's not necessary anyway if the application crashes the entire iPhone and doesn't save the photo you take in the first place. Bad!
