Deadlines is not a Calendar program, but it will help you keep track of important events. Deadlines is not a Getting Things Done program, but it will help you get things done. Deadlines is not a project manager, but it will help you manage your projects.
So what is Deadlines? It's the simplest, fastest way to keep track of important events - the ones due today, and the ones not due for weeks.
Deadlines shows a list of your important events, automatically sorted by the days until they're due. Color-coding shows:
▪ Overdue (red)
▪ Due today (pink)
▪ Due soon (yellow)
▪ Safely in the future (green and blue).
You can simultaneously see today's tasks and events due weeks from now. You can enter notes for each event.

What's New in Version 1.3
Requires iPhone OS 3.0, which enables many improvements.
The most important new features are:
• Notes are now on the calendar screen, making them easier to use and more valuable. The notes view zooms larger for editing.
• You can email an event without leaving the Deadlines app.
• You can email all events, again without leaving the Deadlines app.
Main screen improvements:
• Paperclip icon shows which events have Notes.
• New toolbar commands are available from the main screen:
⁃ Email All Events.
⁃ Help.
⁃ Settings.
• Colored lights are the default Setting - smiles are an option.
Calendar screen improvements:
• In-app Email: you can email an event without leaving the app.
• Notes are shown on the calendar screen, making it easy to add or view notes for any event.

Quick. Easy. Does a great job at it's core function.
Perfect, easy to use app for keeping track of deadlines
I open this first thing in the morning, and several times during the day to get a very quick view of items, tasks, and deadline of things I need to get done, be it a to-do item, a task, an appointment, whatever has a deadline. By using red, yellow and blue icons next to each item in the list, I can quickly see what items are late (red), almost due (yellow), or have time to complete (blue). A small number icon on the springboard icon for this app tells me the number of currently due or past due items without even launching the program. This is much better than a calendar, as all your deadlines are visible on one easy to see list, rather than having to scan through a calendar. I must say, I was not really sure if I would use this all the time until I started using it, and then I found myself adding deadlines every day, and, of course, setting my own priorities to get the more urgent deadlines completed on time.
Great App to let you stay in control
You are in your weekly project meeting.
You have deliverables going out to your client from different department managers under your control and you need to be the one in control. Reach for your I-Phone and Deadlines grants you that control.
You can keep your fancy schedules and spreadsheets, Deadlines allows me to see at a glance with color indicators and days left to hit my targets. I can easily see if a schedule is slipping and take care of it before it becomes a problem.
Personal Concepts got it just right! Keeping Deadlines simple with no clutter works real well for me.
