Customer Reviews
Worth the wait
This is the chess app you want. No, not that other one, this one. Trust me.
Almost
The game crashes far too often. I find myself restarting the app several times per game. I don't lost progress, which is good, but I still find it very frustrating. I'm running the app on an iPad 2, so I don't think my hardware is the problem.
What am I missing
The game is fine, but I'm confused about previous reviews referring to the display/graphics as superb, stunning, beautiful, etc. Yes, it looks nice - but it's very simple and plain. Some may call that elegant or classy and I respect their opinion.. Based on the price and the reviews, however, I was expecting some smoking 3-D graphics. Yes, I saw the screen shots above, but chose to ignore them thinking there was much more to it. I'm sure this will be an excellent chess app, I just had my expectations way too high on the graphics.
