Ingenious app, great fun
Agree that this is an ingenious use of iPhone's touch interface. Game-wise, DrawRace combines physical with physics. Like any good game, it looks simple but offers plenty of challenge. Even though the network race is not real time, it doesn't matter. Who knew simple animation could be so much fun! (And I'm not a gamer.)
One small problem in animation: Sometimes my car crosses finish line first (by large margins) but loses; sometimes my car crosses line second but wins. (On iPhone 4, if hardware matters.) Another problem: When I first won trophies in the last 5 races and wanted to race against other users, it says "unable to contact server. See details in Setup screen." But the error message is gibberish. Meanwhile, I could still race against others at lower levels, meaning it _was_ able to contact server. The problem, I deduce, is that the app errors out when no other contestant has won trophies in these races. Because now I am able to race against others, although the numbers of available contestants are still small.
Love it
The easiest racing game I ever play. I am not good at racing games in fact they are hard. But this one is not. There is a challenge by trying to move your finger faster.
Neat.
Another fun game. No disappointments.
