Don't drop it!!!
Very original in almost every aspect this game is, the cntrls are as futuristic as the game itself, but will take a little patiants.I have to be honest in saying that this is the most original and fresh game concept I have seen in the store as of yet, your basicly multi tasking several diffrent obsticals at once. Shooting the enemy,guiding your ship through caverns and such, rescuing humans, and retreving a pod, without hitting the walls on your way back less face the consiquences of having to do it all over again. With each level the caverns or what ever they are get bigger and harder to menuver through, but that's the fun part, with dowloadable maps this game may have a limitless amount of replay value, with harldy anything to complain about. Though I would recomend stationary cntrls, though the concept of minority report type flowing cntrls are cool Im often covering up the whole screen, or moving instead of shooting vice versa. But no biggy. Very nice game, put together with thought and patiance.
(update) after you get the hang of the cntrls I recomend practicing in free mode, I'm unstopable now , and don't know if it's in the discrpt, but after you distroy enemys collect the blue particals for points and energy refuel
horrible controls - ultimately frustrating
I wanted to like this one, but unfortunately its disappointing.
1. Horrible controls: the ship is very hard to control and maintain a consistent flight pattern. The ship spins and turns crazily.
2. Hard to see where you are going. There is no clear distinction between moving forward and backward - its kind of hard to tell which way your ship is going unless the ship is moving. Frustrating
3. Nice graphics: the vector images and 3D effects are cool. Too bad the game is not playable.
Frustrating. . .avoid it and save your 2 bucks. I wish I did.
Cool game
You can fly any direction in a 2-dimensional circle with your left thumb and shoot any direction in a 2-directional circle with your right thumb. You get to rescue friends from your contact list and pull a "pod" out of each level before the time runs out. The levels get more and more difficult as you progress through the game. Oh, and it's very fun.
