The most realistic 3D dice roller for the iPhone and iPod Touch! Perfect for use with role playing games (RPG). This is not just a calculator, typing in complicated equations, and having a random number generator calculating the answer. Instead, we aim to simulate the visceral experience of rolling the dice themselves. We focus on the dice, nothing else! All standard dice are included and rendered in detail along with a rich collection of unique table tops.
The physics used to model the dice behavior utilize true 3D motion in order to provide the most accurate, realistic, and appealing dice rolling experience. Dice rolls are not determined by a pseudo random number generator, but rely on gravity and the dice interactions with the table and other dice to provide a truly random a result. Each table and dice set has its own unique physical properties; so for example selecting an ice table compared to a leather table means that the dice will slide around and bounce more on the ice table then the leather table, providing even more incredible realism to the simulation.

Great RPG Dice Rolling App
I really enjoy this app, it's fun to play with even when I don't need it for rolling dice in Dungeons & Dragons. There are five different screens ("tables") that you can customize with different table surfaces, dice colors, and dice numbers/types. Playing with the different surfaces (they interact differently with the dice and make different sounds) and different dice colors (many to choose from, including some transparent and marbled colors) is fun.
You could use this app for just about any game that requires dice rolls, but I like that it includes all the dice I need to play D&D. Shaking the iPhone to roll the dice just feels right, and the dice movements and sounds seem natural. It's like rolling your own dice, but you don't have to carry them around all the time.
The only thing I wish for is the option to have the total displayed, for those of us who do not want to add together the dice totals every roll. Other than that, this is a great app, well worth the price. I look forward to updates with even more tables and dice colors!
Cool app but it needs a few things to make it great.
If these things where incorperated it would be a 5 star app.
1) Better framerate. I did a restart on a 3Gs and its still low.
2) Automatic counter (shown in title bar)
3) Show dots on D6 instead of numbers (like in the screenshots!?!?!?)
4) Be able to mix and match dice themes on the same table.

Horrible framerate (even though the app is still functional)
Good idea, poor implementation & support
Terrible framerate (on a freshly rebooted 3G[S]), no totalling of the dice and no updates, despite months of customer complaints.
Not worth the 99 cents. Instead, look at MachDice by MachWerx. Better framerate, better features and better support.
