Almost 5 Stars
If I could save my progress in the middle of a level I'd rate this 5 stars. As it is, if you don't have tons of time in one chunk, you get to replay the level from the start. Honestly, it took me an hour of gameplay when I first bought this for it to make sense. Very different and original. I would not use the word "relaxing" to describe it and don't know who would find this to be relaxing.
Great on steam, phenomenal on an iPad.
Hands down! one of the best ports ever made. Stunning visuals, fluid controls, constructive tutorial and enveloping gameplay.
The only knick I could give the dev team: lack of an iOS free version for those who are unfamiliar with this indie masterpiece. I loved the demo on steam so much I bought it there and here. Please keep up the great work. Updates are the key to longevity in this market.
Great gameplay, horrible story
Unique, fairly challenging RTS. Innovative and cool zoom in zoom out mechanic. Well balanced, and generally fun to play (though you really only need one strategy to win.)
So why only three stars? The story. It's bad. Really bad. Horribly conceived, badly executed, not well written. It's so bad that finishing the game leaves you with the sinking feeling that you've wasted hours of your life.
If there was no story, and a simple "congratulations!!", I'd be giving it five stars right now. Dear devs, please, either hire a great writer, or ditch the story entirely. You've got a great game. Don't try to turn it into something it's not.
