A strict app
I wanted to use this app to store past encounters but the UI is not friendly in this regard. Unfortunately, the app does not provide a field for street addresses after importing from your address book. You have to copy the address manually then paste it over into the Hello app. Perhaps I am not using it as intended. I saw it as a way to transfer old contacts out of my address book and store them in Hello, but apparently this is for people you meet from today onward.
Great concept but misses the mark
The idea is fantastic. The execution of the idea is flawed. Here are some of the problems:
1) It does not automatically sync with iPhone contacts
2) It does not reliably email the new contact your information (50/50 chance in my testing)
3) It does not allow me to send new contacts my web URL or my Facebook or my LinkedIn or my Google+ information
4) It does not reliably sync. It hangs some of the time saying "Sending Changes". I have to restart the app to get the info to go through.
5) If the email does go through to the new contact, my information is not live links to Twitter or Email.
Doesn't integrate with Outlook Calendars
So in this sense the app is pretty useless for business users who rely on MS Exchange to manage their calendar and contacts. Now if Hello could integrate with Outlook you'd be able to preview useful information about people you will be meeting. Waiting for Meshin for iOS to deliver the goods, perhaps.
