Bug fix returns this to glory!
I've used this for a long time; it is a great app. The integration with their great web page to view hikes (with pictures, pace, elevation; selectively sharable) is really quite impressive. Offline ability to view contour maps (fixed in the current release) makes it great for hikes off the grid (and in need of preserved batteries). I've used a range of hiking/running tracking maps, and this is certainly my favorite. I haven't gotten into the Guides, but hope to in the future. But even its excellent basic functionality means I use it every time I hit the trail.

Don't waste your money
The off-line map is useless for a walking trip. Go with a free application instead.
