not what i hoped for
I haven't shopped for feed reading apps on my ipad (a new toy for me). Feedly was recommended and I got it. I am disappointed that it doesn't pick up all of the blogs in my feed aggregator (google reader), nor does it display them all the same way. I can read some via the app, but not others, and I have to visit the website on all of them to actually leave comments. Also, it doesn't let me mark feeds as read, nor does it recognize that I have already read some feeds.... Also, I have to page through it all to see what's new, who has posted, etc. I can't just take a quick look at who has posted, see who I'm interested in reading, and go there.
The plus side is that I like the little thumnails, and it's easy to flip through all the entries (though a pain if I've already read them and have to flip through them all to find the new ones).
Excellent RSS
One of the best looking rss readers out there. The Firefox add on is also really nice. Props for syncing with google reader!
Absolutely the Bee's Knees!
Amazingly fluid and utterly smooth. This is by far the best RSS app I've seen. I used to use FLUD, but for some reason it kept crashing and running extremely slow after I updated to iOS5. After using this I instantly deleted FLUD... This app is impeccable.
