Instructions:
Remove any cases/accessories and unplug any connected cables from the iPhone/iPod if necessary then lay it down on your index finger and balance it, making sure to line the center of your finger up with the 'Balance Point' line. Once the device is balanced, you can slightly roll your finger to angle the device (see 'Tips’ in application) and allow for heavier objects to be weighed. Press The 'Set/Reset' button before each weighing and be sure to hold as still as possible. Once the display shows a zero value place the object to be weighed at the marked location.Tap the readout any time to freeze it until you press 'Set/Reset' again. If the readout is changing quickly, hold as still as possible for a few seconds and it should slow to approximately the weight of the object.

This is Scott with MEDL Mobile. Before I address my observations of this app, I want to mention that many individuals have submitted scale app ideas to my company, and each time, we have rejected them. Why? The iPhone and iTouch are NOT WEIGHT SENSITIVE.
Case in point, this application does not work. I have followed the instructions for accurate results and performed every procedure suggested.
As many individuals know, a US nickel is equal to 5 grams. After performing thr necessary calibrations, I primered the scale with a nickel, expecting to see a 5 gram readout. Instead, the scale fluxuated wildly and landed on inconsistent readouts, even though the nickel and Phone were stationary.
To ensure accuracy of my tests, I even borrowed a friend's marijuana scale so I could register a reliable control. Same results--inconsistent readouts preceded by wild fluxuation.
Do not purchase this app. It is a waste of your money, and if the phone/touch could register weight, this app would have been made long ago. Your $1 would be better spent on a cheeseburger from MickyDees.

We measured a dime bag on this app and on a real scale. The app shorted us 25%.

I bought this looking to measure the dankness of my herbs. However, this app is terrible and the numbers keep going up and down and will not stay at 0 when you adjust it. Do NOT buy this app!
