Description
Flick Bowling 2 is the best bowling game on the App Store. With beautiful 3-D graphics, true to life pin physics and gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master.
Simply position your player and flick across the screen to roll the ball. Add a hook to your roll by moving your finger left or right at the end of your flick. Earn awards and compare scores with Plus+ integration as well.
Quick play with "Fast Lane" mode, full games solo or versus others or Story Mode which takes you on a journey through time and space to defeat the insidious Baron Von Schtopwatch as he tries to hatch his dastardly plan to... well, he hasn't quite figured that out yet. Play as one of six historical figures like Cleopatra or Ghengis Khan as you bowl through five different bowling alleys throughout time, all created with little to no historical reference!

Hard Flick Bowling
I am not challenged when it comes to games, but this game is hard, I am disappointed that I paid for it.
Flick Bowling 2
What a great game easy to use and easy to beat! Thanks best 3 bucks spent so far!!!!!
Clever design but poor game play
This game is clever, with nice graphics, fun customized balls (if you pay extra, you can put photos on the balls), a variety of characters and lanes, etc. The story mode has some clever moments in both the intentionally cheesy dialogue and the little headlines that appear along the timeline as you travel through time. The problem is, the game is impossible for me to get the hang of. I can't seem to find a "groove" that will get me predictable results with the ball. The spin is either too much or too little, and when I manage to get a strike or even a good roll, I can't seem to duplicate it on the next throw, no matter what -- and I've spent countless hours playing this. I still come back to it because it's so easy to just fire up and throw some frames, but the truth is I don't pay much attention to the score, because I just can't string together any closed frames. The pin action seems pretty weak, too. You can put some good spin on a ball only to have it blast through the pins leaving a hole between them, it's like the pins don't often bother to knock down any surrounding pins (they sometimes do, but it seems unrealistic -- as in there are often leaves that one rarely sees in real bowling). If they added a zoom feature so you could target a little better, beefed up the pin action so you got some realistic help from the flying pins, developed better opponent ai (they all bowl like idiots), made more achievements that weren't dependent on picking up every type of split known to man, and made ball control more predictable, this game would be a lot better. As it is, it's a worthy time-waster but not all that satisfying.
