Bad Controls
Haven't any of you played Space Invaders: Infinity Gene? Give this game touch-anywhere controls and it will be far better.
Space Invaders with a fun twist
Adorable graphics put on a Space Invaders-style game. Adding the element of earning power-ups is nice, but I was disappointed by the imbalance of level difficulty. Most of a boss's levels were pretty easy and I beat them in one or two tries, but I'd have to play a boss stage multiple times in order to earn power-ups to beat the boss. That was frustrating. I wish it were more gradual and not such a leap.
Then, once I had beat all the bosses and was trying to earn enough music notes to buy all the power-ups: MAJOR crashing problem. So it took FOREVER to play enough times to actually get the music notes because I'd lose all I had earned in that run-through with each crash. I tried re-booting my iPod Touch (4th Gen, even!). I tried syncing. Nothing worked.
Then, today, it just stopped. No update, nuthin. So I'm guessing it wasn't caused solely by the app, but by something on my device too.
Summary: Fun game, nice beats, challenging at times, mostly stable. For a buck, give it a try!
