Had to downgrade my iPhone from OS 4.0 back to 3.1.3 because 4.0 was ridiculously slow. Having since downloaded the updated version of FStream -- which only works with 4.0 -- I can't use it. I can see fixing your App so that it will work with 4.0, but why make it so that it won't work with anything prior? That requires everyone to upgrade their iPhone OS, whether they want to or not. That's just stupid. Every other app I have which has updated to ensure compatability with OS 4.0 also works with the older firmware. Just plain dumb...
iOS 4.0 only?
I've been using this app to listen to an .ogg station every day for the past few months on my iPhone 3G. I have no desire to upgrade to iOS 4.0 after seeing how badly it can slow down my phone. Now suddenly because I upgraded to the latest version of FStream I can't use it anymore. Therefore it gets one star from me.
Please, please, PLEASE allow use on older iOS versions. I BEG YOU!
No iPod Touch / iPhone First Gen. Support?? iOS 4.0 ONLY...
Very dumb move...
I downloaded the update for the application and iTunes tells me, can not install on iPod because it requires a newer version of firmware. I guess anybody with first gen equipment who can't upgrade to iOS 4.0 (or those who choose not to upgrade to 4.0) are now locked out. Thankfully it didn't delete the copy I had on my first gen. iPod. What happens if I ever need to restore my iPod? It's gone. The new version now stored on my computer will never sync to my iPod Touch. Thanks for throwing out all of us with first gen. equipment...
I'd advise to bring back the old version, via a different download or something, or make the new version backward compatable, so those of use with first gen. equipment can still enjoy the use of the program!
** Everyone who finds they can no longer use FStream should click the support link and bombard them with support email requesting the program be fixed, or the Version 1.0.5 be re-released so that those of us who are stuck with the older firmware can still enjoy the app...
