► WHAT IS THE G-MAP?
G-map is the first voice-prompted turn-by-turn GPS navigation software available for iPhone and iPod Touch. No wireless connection needed to get you to the destination.

- Live traffic: Displays the level of traffic on your route in different colors. Allows you to avoid traffic tie-ups by choosing alternative routes, all presented with real-time traffic information.

- Point on Map: When you touch any point on the map, the G-map provides detailed location information, including street address, city, state, zip code and phone number. G-map also offers the option for a route from your current location to the point on the map you’ve selected. This is helpful when you know the vicinity of a destination, but not exact address.
- Real 3D View: G-map provides detailed, realistic 3-D renderings of major urban intersections and highway junctions for 185 metro areas, in your choice of full or half-screen configuration.
- Flexible Trip Planning: Enables user to add multiple waypoints when creating route and simulate the routing among them all. Ideal when making numerous stops during one trip.
- Suggested Keyword Search: G-map intuitively suggests search results, based on letters you enter. This saves you time when entering data and the suggested options are helpful when you are unsure of exact location names.
- Simulated Routing: G-map lets you preview your route by animating the path of the entire route of to the selected destination. This feature helps you to understand the route and select an alternative, if you prefer.

Finally! Great Street Navigation
Excellent map graphics and user interface. This is a REAL personal navigation application. All that is missing is the turn by turn voice prompting.
The new update fix most of the problem. Provide some wish list to make it better.
The new version update has fix most of my issue:
1. It has the auto adjust map for the car direction.
2. It has much better signal.
3. It doesn't crash that much anymore.
They deserve the applause for the improvement the developer made.
I hope they will include the following improvement in the future.
1. Voice for direction. At least be able to say left or right with how many miles.
2. In the map when not in the route mode, include the current street and next intersection street in the map.
Most of the time, the current street is hard to tell.
3. Remember the last route when restart as one of the setup preference.
4. For international language, I can't enter other language when hit done.
False advertising - watch out
According to thier support site the app offers "some" 3D views as well as "heading up" (instead of the typical Google Maps "north up"). Unable to duplicate this function, I asked thier support department and was told that "Our application is only support North-up view at this time."
This is the reason I purchased the program, so if this feature is important to you then don't purchase this program. The videos and documentation on thier support site are wrong and misleading.
