This isn't the original, it's just some newer crap game. If it's GALAGA 30th collection, then why isn't the REAL Galaga on this?!
Galaxian for FREE! And nearly perfect.
I have wanted an iPhone/iPad version of Galaxian since the beginning. This version is soooooo close to being perfect, BUT in the original version you can't fire again until the last shot hits an enemy ship or disappears off the top of the screen when you miss. The high rate of fire in this version is fun and modern, but I'd pay $10 (heck, maybe more) for an exact replica of the 1979 classic. I played Galaxian by the hour at Washington State University c. 1980-81 and scored over a million points one time (we had a list on the side of the machine for anyone surpassing 100k). Awesome game!
Update! How come when I try to d/l this to my iPhone 4 I get a message that it's no longer available?!?!?
