STORY
A hyperdrive malfunction sends intergalactic adventurer and war hero Keith T. Maxwell tumbling through space and time. Awakening 35 years later at the far end of the galaxy, he quickly finds himself fighting for his life against a mysterious alien armada that is wreaking havoc on the warring races occupying this volatile sector of space.

When a high-ranking scientist of the Deep Science society is kidnapped, it is up to Keith T. Maxwell to get to the bottom of things and reveal all kinds of conspiracies on board of the mysterious Valkyrie station commanded by the shady weapons dealer Alice. Nothing is as it seems and before he knows what is really going on, Keith finds himself trapped in a thick web on intrigues which leads to a thundering finale with an unexpected twist.

One of the Best Games for the 4S!
I have been playing iPhone apps for 4 years and this game is by far, one of my favorites, along side Real Racing 2. The graphics are amazingly beautiful. The gameplay is addicting. The storyline is interesting, but what makes this game is the player's ability to create your own adventures and goals. Do not buy the Kaamo Club add-on. If you are serious about this game, you have to earn it. A word of warning to frustrated players: the HD version will only work well for a 4S, so if this game is constantly crashing on your iPhone 4 or older, get the SD version.
Galaxy on fire 2 is a universe of fun
Eons ago, I remember downloading a free GOF and thought, this is not bad for a flying game. How times have changed. I just bought this before the sale and I still think this is one of the best games on iOS. The HD version is definitely worth it but the SD version looks terrific as well. Graphics are breathtaking on Retina display, every view looks like a painting. The Valkyrie add-on beefs up an already engaging campaign. There were a few jitters when arriving at a space station, but no crashes on the new iPad. The movie soundtrack is outstanding. I was able to complete the game and continue with collecting adventures. Game rewards grinding through missions and upgrading gear. I wish there were more add-ons or campaigns. They can even skip the campaign and just add more races or gear. I hope their next release sticks to this solid formula. They could probably get some mileage using this platform for other types of aerial combat, say ww2. I look forward to more!
