Why couldn't they just add the new modes to the original game. Lame cash in.
Multiplayer lacking
I bought this solely for the multiplayer, as I have had the lite version for years. WHAT A WASTE. All the online is is a bunch of losers camping in constant standoffs. There's not enough planets in multiplayer to make it interesting at all -- there needs to be differing sizes too; having big home planets with a couple small ones is BORING. The worst strategy you can actually have is to actually attack planets because of the way it is designed. I would not recommend this purchase at all. The multiplayer is very slow-paced and boring. Playing the computer is much better and for that, just buy the free version. As a fan of Galcon for years, the developer needs to seriously fix the multiplayer.
Great game... Except multiplayer
I got this game a while back when it was free for a short period and fell in love with it, but now since it isn't free anymore no one plays multiplayer! That was by far the best part of the game, and until there are a good number of players back online this game will not be near what it could and should be.
