Glassboard is the easiest and fastest way to share messages, photos, and videos with small groups (or ‘boards’ as we call them). When you send a message to a board, it shows immediately on everyone’s phones, so you’re always on the same page.

Best group chat app
Glassboard works great as a group messaging app. It's perfect for chatting and sharing photos- but it doesn't share them with everyone. It only shares with the people you choose to invite to your group. It also has an "open group" option, which still requires a code to get in. Share the code and anyone who sees the code can join that group. Perfect!
I only have a few qualms with this app:
(1) Lack of a private messaging system. Sometimes I want to make a private comment to one person. I haven't found a way to do that without creating an entirely new group just for the two of us.
(2) It can be visually tricky to distinguish one chunk of conversation from another. Comments posted in response to particular posts should either have a differently shaded background (i.e. light grey) or a large margin on the left hand side. Makes it easier to scroll through conversations that way.
(3) A contact list where a person can be added by entering their username would be useful.
(4) My friends using an iPod Touch are left out because Glassboard is not compatible with their device. Please fix this. :(
Other than that, I love Glassboard. Getting set up was extremely simple. Just requires email verification - the phone number is optional. And using the interface is easy. No ads bugging you all the time. Very well designed app with minimal headaches.
