Description
Log blood glucose measurements and insulin doses for diabetes management.
Glucose is meant to be a convenient and simple tool for helping diabetics record blood glucose measurements and insulin usage. It's built on the principle of doing one thing and doing it well, and should have everything needed for day to day use. If you find that a frequently needed feature is missing, please let me know.
Thanks to everyone at Ars Technica's Mac forum who helped me test and refine Glucose.
NOTE: Insulin is marketed under many brand names around the world. Instead of trying to keep track of the various brands for different regions, Glucose simply uses the scientific name for each insulin type. For example, if you're using Novo Nordisk's Novolog brand of Insulin Aspart, you'll choose Aspart in the insulin types list. If you're not sure of the proper name for the insulin you use look on the packaging or contact your doctor or pharmacist.

The Best and with great promise!
I've used this since it's first and very buggy days because of the clean one line and customizable entries for multiple entries such as (Blood Sugar | Medication | and categories like lunch, dinner etc...) It's come a long way since and is for all intent and purposes solid. The only bug I find now is seldom will I have to reselect my two default medications. I've found very diverse ways to use the custom fields. Where the above says NPH or Aspart I've added fields for Protein, Calories, Antibiotics... Anything dietary with a numeric value. Where it says Lunch or Dinner I've added fields for Sick Day, Vacation, cycling, weight lifting and any other category needed that might need special attention when out of ones normal environment. It's not limited to just insulin. All this with a clean one line entry. Doctors find this far easier to find trends in blood sugar than with multiple lines for every separate entry. I LOVE this app and the developer is very responsive when I send bug reports. It's very much worth the development and has changed my life. I've tried many others during the more buggy periods of development but have always come back to Glucose. Get creative with this app, there's no limits to how and what one can keep track of. Thanks for creating this and giving it the time and energy. My hope is for you to make an iPad version. Cheers!
Not Bad
This app is just ok, very buggy although there is quick response from the developer. I found I need to reboot my phone over and over and grew tired of it. Long and short of it, good app to get you started but you will soon move on
