Description

Imagine being on a road trip and having your iPhone alert you to nearby places of interest. Looking for a coffee shop or favorite restaurant? As you travel, GPS Alerts will notify you of new locations that meet your search criteria. You will then be presented with options to view those locations on a map, get directions, make a phone call, or view a business' website. If you are planning a trip you can set a future location and have your alert profiles search relative to your future location.

GPS Alerts does not present any advertisements and does not require any kind of external registration. GPS Alerts only emits GPS coordinates and search terms against the directory services it uses.

What's New in Version 2.0

A new tab interface has been added. The new release also takes advantage of the iOS4 background process to initiate alerts on the phone. The application no longer needs to be in the foreground running to get alerts.
