HAZARDhunters is your community, dedicated to safety. We empower you with geographically relevant information about potential risks that might pose a hazard that could impact on your routine, time, home, travel, workplace and health.
What HAZARDhunters can do for you:
✪ Works best with Geolocation and Push Notifications switched on, and a free account from http://hazardhunters.com
✪ Report a hazard you come across to warn others: If you come across somewhere crime or vandalism has taken place, a traffic obstacle, or smoking garbage, or anything that could disrupt daily life, report the hazard by filling in the description, category, risk level, attaching an image, and adding any extra information you have.
✪ You can share that information to Facebook, Twitter or Email, as well as Save it and finish the report later. If you're happy with it, make sure your location is correct by tapping 'change location' and then hit submit. That's it! Now everyone will be empowered to take evasive or responsive action.
✪ As you're walking or driving along, a push notification will warn you of any other dangers in close proximity to you
✪ Check out the Map and List, to view real-time hazards being reported near you, or around the world
✪ After signing up for an account at http://hazardhunters.com. set a HAZARDalert to let you know if any hazards have been reported on your daily routes or at your sensitive locations, such as home or work
✪ The information the community provides helps to inform and safeguard others, including allowing emergency services to take pre-emptive action
