Blending strategy and non-stop action, Hellemental takes Unity 3D gaming to the next dimension. With an arsenal of potent weapons, spells and shields at your disposal, Hellemental puts the offense in Tower Defense.
Play as the powerful wizard Elija, as you summon the forces of nature—earth, water, fire and air—to defend the citizens of Norlisk from relentless hordes of blood-thirsty monsters spawned from the elements themselves.
Across 16 battlefields in 3 magical lands, you must devise and execute a battle plan based on each monster’s strengths and weaknesses. Accumulate gold for every monster you kill. Then, visit the secret magic shop to buy enchanted shells, spells and seals to upgrade your offensive and defensive capabilities. Norlisk needs a hero. Could that hero be you?
How to kill monsters:
To attack monsters, press the targeting function in the lower left portion of the screen, then use your finger to tap the location you want your shell to land.
Hellemental includes:
* 16 Cities/Battlefields in 3 magical lands
* 3 Difficulty Settings
* 5 Unique Monster Classes
* 4 Magic Types with 16 Spells
* 4 Magic Seals to protect the city gates
* 1 Kick Ass Wizard

Excellent Game, Really Solid!
I've just barely skimmed the surface of this one, but I can tell you the story is cool, it really sets you up nicely for the oncoming hordes of baddies trying to break down the city walls.
The music and graphics/animations are top-notch. This game has no rival in the 3D Castle Defense genre of the AppStore.
So far there is an excellent leveling system as well as attribute and spell upgrades to be "purchased.
One very unique element is while you simply are touch and dragging to scroll the 3D battle field, there is a "window" showing your Mage atop the city gates, casting his magical enchantments and spells. Then as you scroll near your Mage the window leaves since you can now see your immediate area again.
Color me inpressed with Hellemental. It's one of the rare graphical treats offered on iTunes that offers an equally impressive ammount of depth and content in gameplay.
A last note about the game itself, it just oozes professional development and all menus and interface are very well organized and responsive. This is seriously a game of quality that could be compared with the level of detail and design of Gameloft or EA.
I'm glad to see the devs are now offering a sale of $2.99, maybe this will draw more interest in their stand-out effort.

nice
not a bad little game, pretty nice graphics/animations. definitely like a castle defense/beach head mix.
played for a little bit, have a couple initial concerns:
aiming is by touch of course, but unless you're completely zoomed in, its hard to aim your default attack with any precision, (finger ends up covering your small targets) short of just spamming the screen to death and hoping most of the attacks connect.
haven't found a way to upgrade the default attack at all, not sure if that's automatic down the line or what, but seems the default attack is almost useless on the second round already, just can't keep up with the swarms and their hp.
for the aiming, i would suggest the following, as an optional method: (this is from the perspective of me being right handed), use the right pointing finger to aim a reticule slightly above your finger, and perhaps use the bottom left button to activate the attack. somewhat opposite of what it is now, with the addition of an offset for the reticule. or maybe have the bottom left/right buttons swap, then you can use the left pointing finger to slide around and aim.
worth the 99 i think if you like defense type games
Love the game
Hope I write the first review. Well,the game has solid 3D maps, monsters and spell effects are nicely done. I like the gameplay, may be too much tapping required, but that's a matter of personal choice. Good job overall, please keep the games coming!
