Best game
Best game I've ever paid for. Get it.
Fantastic game.
This is easily one of the best multiplayer offerings on the iPhone. If you're a fan of turn-based strategy games at all you owe it to yourself to check this out. This game has it all - well balanced gameplay, graphics and sound polished to a glorious shine, and a bunch of customizable content including promises of support and further additions.
It's not perfect though, some (very) minor criticisms include:
As others said, an offline mode would be great. Especially, as I've seen mentioned elsewhere, if it included the ability to unlock new avatars / taunts / etc for completing certain in game tasks.
Taunts should be something you can earn (say 1 taunt every 3 wins maybe). I've been playing this game for months now, several hundred matches, and have seen the taunts used less than 5 times. If you didn't have to buy them people might use them. And they're kind of funny / cool. Seems silly to put a pay barrier between the players and something like that.

This is chess for people who want something a little simpler. I love it.
