Very holiday story. Brings many smiles

Maybe in 2009 it was great but now it just seems dated and old school. I wish I had spent my money on a more recent book adaptation
Mediocre
Voice is OK, constant falling snow fine. The Burns style image motion when you go to a new page is fine. The read to me option is mediocre, read swipe, read swipe. I guess it could force the child the follow the text.
What makes this just average?
-- Three text changes for the same image? So, you expect a child to swipe three times for the same black and white picture?
Typically a book is better than the movie. This is based on a 20 minute animated movie and the movie does a much better job than this book.
This could be improved dramatically with minimal effort. It's a classic story that is being sold short due to only average effort being put into the production.
